In the meet-the-citizen session, there is a demand for me to report this incident to rise the awareness of people all over Singapore and prevent crime before it starts. Additionally, there is a letter that is sent to me about crime. Do your think you want to be the victim?
All this are the victims' cars that are being vandalise. It might not concern you now, but in future, when you become the VICTIM, do you want others to help?
Crime Awareness and Prevention!!!
Do your actually care about or take a look at this posters?
They are actually around in your daily lives. Be aware of crime and prevent it from happening. But NEVER confront someone who is committing a crime as you might endanger yourselves. Try calling the police, remember the criminal's look or dressing so as to help the police with more information to get them punished for what they have done. Additionally, we can set up neighbourhood crime watch to help one another and do your part in preventing crime. Why wait, START NOW.
I hope people around Singapore to actually help one another and do not be afraid to stop crime. The police can't be 24 hour around us to protect us. We have to help ourselves as well. There are two witness whom I managed to interview, Mr Tan, a student from RP and Ms Poh actually witness a firsthand process of crime happening. But due to being afraid and laziness of making a report, they did not stop the crime. Imagine if anyone of your are victims whose car are under vandalism or your children being beaten up, do you hope or wish others who witness it to help?
So now is the time to take the first step and keep Singapore a crime-free country and prevent anyone including yourself to becoming a victim.
Last reminder, never let your guard down on preventing crime.
Thank you for reading my post and if there is anything which you would like to comment feel free to do it.
